The products we sell are unusual and often unique. Our store has its own special look and feel with its rich colour palette, but we know that not everyone wants their home looking just like Afghan Interiors. We offer interior design services to help you integrate our products into your home, calling on the experience and expertise of our talented staff. Whether you are looking to decorate a single room or the whole house, or just find the right rug, our consultants can make home visits to help you find the right solution for your space and budget.

When browsing at our store, it is often difficult to imagine how one of our rugs will look in your home. We can arrange to bring your favourite choices to your home to try them in situ so you can make up your mind. You can even keep them for a few days to help you decide which is the right rug for you.
We can also advise you on additional items that will enhance your living space: cushions and soft furnishings, wall-hangings, textiles and lamps are all available. If you take one of our initial consultancy packages, you will also receive discounts on your purchases from Afghan Interiors.
We have a pool of talented staff at Afghan Interiors: interior designers and decorators, furniture restorers and finishers, textile experts, rug experts and even our own in-house artist. We can tailor packages to your requirements. Just call us to discuss your project.
Consultancy Services (Sydney Only)
Design consultancy package (two home visits and one in-store consultancy, pricing and quotes): $200
Initial consultation/home visit, including pricing and quotes – 1 hour $130
Additional home visits – 1 hour $90
Additional expert services: each project priced individually.
When you purchase products over the value of $600 from Afghan Interiors as a result of using our consultancy services, we will refund the cost of the consultancy service against your purchases. In addition, you will receive a 15% discount on all Afghan Interiors products above the initial $600 purchase.
